This Matilde Poulat brooch has been repurposed to hold 12 strands of high quality amethyst gemstone beads and 990 silver beads.
The sterling brooch features two lovebirds atop a flower pot with a pyramid amethyst stone, three coral cabs and turquoise tube beads. It also has three pendants, each with a turquoise cab. The brooch is circa 1950’s and is in great condition. I believe one of the turquoise cabs has been replaced and one of the coral stones has a small chip, but these imperfections do not detract from the beauty of this piece. This is all reflected in a lower price. 2.5″ in total length, 1.25″ in width.
The amethyst gemstone strands are accented with 990 silver beads that compliment the style of the brooch. The strands are approximately 1.5″ in width when worn.
This piece just requires your wrist measurement to be completed with sterling French wire, crimps and a locking slide tube clasp.
