This classic, Taxco sterling fern/feather design clamper is the work of the Taxco silversmith Alfredo Villasana. I am a huge fan of his work and if you frequent my shop, you will have seen many of his pieces.
This repoussé, hinged clamper cuff is in very good condition. There is some light surface wear that you would expect in a vintage piece. No major dents or dings. The hinge is rust free but not "snap shut" tight, which is how I usually like my pieces. There is a wee bit of give in the hinge and because it is not absolutely perfect, I have offered it at a lowered price.
