This antique Sammartino Brothers portrait cameo has been paired with silver pearls and garnet gemstones and is now a fun and fabulous necklace.
The pendant measures 2" x 1.75" and is 12k gold filled. It's marked on the back Sammartino Bros, Providence, RI, 1/20 12k. I place it pre- 1920. 
The freshwater pearls are a light grey in color and approximately 7mm x 9mm in size. They are hand wired with gold filled wire to created the strand. A cluster of faceted garnet gems accents the cameo and the necklace fastens with a gold filled toggle.
