This necklace features black moissanite briolettes and a sterling chain.
The gemstones are micro faceted teardrops and slightly graduated in size from 7mm to 8mm in length. They are attached to the chain with sterling headpins. 18" in length. Please watch the video to see the brilliance of these gemstones.
Used as a substitute for black diamonds, moissanite is a naturally occurring gemstone, but today it is mostly lab created, like these gems. The lab created gems are the same composition as the natural gems, but it creates uniform stones and is environmentally and ethically much better. They rival diamond in refractive value and are blindingly sparkly. Often used as a substitute for black diamonds, as they are more accessible and more uniform in color.
