This is Margot de Taxco's 5297, a gorgeous MCM design from one of Taxco's pre-eminent jewelers.
This iconic piece is post 1948. It is in excellent condition with little to no surface wear. This particular design is getting harder to find, especially in this good of condition.
This piece came to me with the hinge very loose. When worn, the bracelet would open and fall off the arm. I was was told by many experts that fixing the hinge was impossible and that I would just have to sell the bracelet as is. Working with my bench jeweler, we devised a method to fix the problem; we installed a very small magnet at the front of the clamper that keeps the piece closed and is inconspicuous.   The magnets work as well as, if not better than, the spring hinge. You can see the repair/magnets in the last photo.
This repair is reflected in the price, as the piece is not in true vintage condition.
