This vintage portrait cameo has been paired with freshwater pearls and red spinel gemstones.
The portrait seems to be a replica and hand painted in some spots, as this was a thing that was done mid 20th century. It's signed on the left side of the portrait. I really couldn't get a good look, as I didn't want to take the piece apart. The gold filled frame of the portrait is also from the mid-20th century. It measures 1.25" x 1".
The necklace is champagne freshwater pearls, approximately 4mm x 3mm and I have added a cluster of smooth, red spinel rondelles for accent. The necklace closes with a vermeil toggle and the pice is 17" in length. All other findings are gold filled.
