This glorious, vintage, sterling clamper is the creation of Alfredo Villasana, one of the well-known Taxco jewelry designers mid twentieth century. Villasana and his AV hallmark were quite prolific during the height of the Taxco silver craze and produced many interesting and iconic pieces that survive to this day.
Circa 40's, the cuff features scrolls of silver that look like waves crashing on a shore.
The piece is in good condition with minor surface scratches and wear that you would expect in a vintage piece. The hinge is tight and rust free and the clamper stays shut on the wrist.
