This William Kerr buckle has been repurposed into a clasp and now holds fourteen strands of ombré shaded aquamarine gemstones.
The buckle is a Belle Epoque/Art Nouveau design with a London blue topaz center stone, ca: 1890's. It is sterling with a gold wash and measures  2.5" x 1.5" when closed. The original gemstones were damaged and I have replaced them with the topaz stones you see. Hallmarked on the back.
The aquamarine gemstone strands feature 2.5mm to 3mm shaded gems from white to pale blue to yellow and back again. The shortest strand is 17" in length.
The necklace can be worn a number of ways, as shown in the photos.
Very feminine  and easy to wear.
