This vintage William Kerr sterling, gold gilt sea serpent buckle has been repurposed to hold eighteen strands of amazing golden Ethiopian opal.
The 1890's buckle is a sea serpent, washed with gold, emerging from the deep with piercing opal eyes and waves rising all around her. The piece is in excellent condition and measures 2.5" x 1 9/16" at the widest.
I have paired it with luscious, high quality, golden Ethiopian opal gemstones, that make this mythical beast even more magical. The gems burn with blue, green, orange, yellow and red flashes of color.
The gemstones are mixed in size, approximately 2mm to 4mm, and the strands are over 2" in width when worn.

This piece just needs your wrist measurement to be completed with gold filled crimps and a custom locking, slide clasp.

To measure for a perfect fit, use our measuring diagram and instructions, included with the photographs.
